Bush The Wuss Talks Shit About US In Foreign Countries

Here is what is wrong with former cokeheads who pose as tough guys. President Bush is the biggest pussy I can think of at the moment. He goes to a foreign country, Israel, and talks shit about people that are about to run this country.

He goes before the Israeli parliament and goes full douche bag and states that Sen. Barack Obama and Democrats favor a policy of appeasement toward terrorists. On the same day he is comparing Obama, and Democrats in general, to Nazi sympathizers for wanting to deal realistically with Iran, his Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, said the U.S. should engage Iran with “a combination of incentives and pressure.” Adding, "We need to figure out a way to develop some leverage . . . and then sit down and talk with them.” Read it here.

So the military guys say we should engage Iran. Bush the non-military guy talks complete shit and thinks he's some kind of diplomat for ignoring Iran. What would have happened if Obama went to Israel or Pakistan and talked shit about Bush? Such a double standard.

Lastly, what has Bush's policy done in the past 8 years? As far as Israel is concerned he ignored the Palestinian situation for the first 7 years and he has created more chaos and terrorism in that region than any other person. All while driving the US dollar into the ground. What a dick.

Ambassador Crocker Is A Dick

Today, the Democratic Policy Committee held a hearing on the U.S. reconstruction effort in Iraq and corruption in the Iraqi government. Here's what Judge Arthur Brennan, the former director of the Office of Accountability and Transparency (OAT) in Iraq, had to say about Ambassador Crocker when asked by Senator McCaskill:

MCCASKILL: "And so, what we’re learning today is that SIGIR, the information we’re getting from SIGIR is not, in fact, always factual, that sometimes it is being spun by Ambassador Crocker and that it is your testimony today that Ambassador Crocker knows the level of corruption in the Iraqi government and has failed to be honest with the American people about it."

BRENNAN: "If he doesn’t know, then he’s negligent. If he does know, then he’s intentionally misleading Congress and the American public."

Additionally, James Mattil, who worked with Brennan, agreed with Brennan’s assessment, blaming the Bush administration for failing to demand greater action on corruption: “It seems reasonable to conclude that the reasons are either, gross incompetence, willful negligence or political intent on the part of the Bush administration and more specifically, the Department of State,” he said.

So Condi Rice has been lying to us. She was a disaster as National Security Advisor and she is a disaster as Secretary of State.

Domestic Wiretapping Has Little Effect

While “the number of Americans being secretly wiretapped” or having their records reviewed by the government continues to increase, “the number of terrorism prosecutions ending up in court” has continued to decline. Experts say that the trends are evidence that “the government has compromised the privacy rights of ordinary citizens without much to show for it.”

Where is the oversight on these programs? The junta running the US has can put these things into place because they have the fear factor behind them. But when they are not finely re-tuned and constantly reviewed, they have no value. Add the "no warrants needed" element that Bush loves and it's just ridiculous what we give up as Americans in the name of freedom. Double speak a la 1984 at its' best.

Faith In Next Generation

Can honestly say I did not expect to see a brotha at the Jenna Bush wedding, let alone the guy that is marrying them. I'm used to expecting the unexpected from the First Family, usually on the negative "sign your soul over to the devil" side. Give it up to Bush's kids for keepin' it real.

A little back story to warm your heart. The Rev. Kirbyjon Caldwell of Windsor Village United Methodist Church in Houston is the man pictured who officiated at the ceremony. To keep it really real, Mr. Caldwell, a longtime religious adviser to Mr. Bush, has endorsed Senator Barack Obama for President.

Weekly Standard Is For Assholes

Writing on the Weekly Standard’s blog yesterday, Michael Goldfarb said that he doesn’t “care” if President Bush’s policies have been a “recruiting tool for terrorists“:

"As to whether Bush is a recruiting tool for terrorists–who cares? Al Qaeda was recruiting before Bush was in office and they will continue to do so after he’s gone. The important thing is that we keep killing those recruits. Eventually, one side will give up."

Justin Logan at Cato-at-Liberty points out Goldfarb’s flawed logic, noting that it justifies doing anything that is counterproductive because “after all, al Qaeda will continue recruiting whether we do it or not.”

Michael Goldfarb is a dick

The best they can do is "who cares". The one thing they can't say is "no, it was not helpful in recruiting." So conversely it was very helpful in recruiting. Therefore, Bush was helpful in recruiting terrorists.

Does the "who cares" apply to tax cuts for rich people? Well I know it applied to New Orleans.

McCain Very Liberal About His Own Campaign Financing

Just like most conservatives who are liberal about what torture is, what global warming is, what an insurgency is, you can now add obeying your own campaign finance reform to the list. McCain was for reform, then against it. Allowing $70,000 in individual contributions by channeling the money into different McCain-centric funds vs the $2300 limit set by campaign finance laws sounds like a liberal approach to integrity by McSame. And I'm not saying it’s illegal, just that the man who claimed to champion campaign finance reform is subverting the goals of his own legislation, thus, proving to be a hypocrite.

Net Neutrality I Can Deal With

As a user of the internet, net neutrality is a big issue for me. I do not want big companies deciding what is best for me. Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee John Conyers agrees with me and has introduced a new bill protecting the basic concept that would require U.S. broadband providers to operate their networks "in a reasonable and nondiscriminatory manner so that all content, applications and services are treated the same and have an equal opportunity to reach consumers."

Furthermore, "If we allow companies with monopoly or duopoly power to control how the Internet operates, network providers could have the power to choose what content is available," Conyers said in a statement.

The main difference between parties is that Democrats are for neutrality, Republicans are against it and want big business to shit on us and makes tons of loot.

Wouldn't the Maverick be better off just admitting he did not vote for Bush in 2000? I mean Bush kicked him in the balls with push polling in the South that cost him the nomination. And McSame has said he is the biggest critic of Bush's baby, the Iraq War. It would make sense that he does not like him.

Now McSame is being called out for lying about denying. What to do? In classic Republican form, "deny, deny, deny" is the M.O. and for the most part his people will not see that this is an example of his revisionist "old-timers disease". It's quaint to them. He forgets who he voted for. He forgets who Sunnis and Shias are. He craps his pants. All in a day for the 71 year old future of the GOP.

David Letterman uses the classic 51st State of Denial gag.

Olbermann: The point of the war in Iraq is to make sure there is war

Keith Olbermann hits at the heart of the flawed reasoning for staying in Iraq.

“And there it is, in all its beautiful, elliptical, symmetrical, asinine Bushian glory,” Olbermann concluded.

“If fewer Americans die in Iraq, that’s because the surge is working. If more Americans die in Iraq, that’s also because the surge is working. And if the surge is working, the troops have to stay longer to solidify its gains. And if the surge isn’t working, the troops have to stay longer to make sure it starts working.”

“And the point of the war in Iraq is to make sure there is a war in Iraq.”

And the reason that there was never an exit strategy is becuase they never want to leave. We have 26 bases being built throughout Iraq. It's what the US does so well. Did that ever come up in a debate?
