Republicans like to pick and choose what they pay for. They usually choose not to pay. The Bush years were a massive I.O.U. Unpaid wars, tax cuts, rebate checks, Plan D.
Now, the Republicans want to attack the working class, using the massive debts they ran up, to somehow justify cuts towards the most vulnerable.
