Dems Still Leading. Republicans Still Sucking

vruz: Congressional Elections 2010, Gallup vruz: I’m wondering what does this mean? There’s a lot to dislike about dems, but please… how awful must republicans get?  This week alone:  Newt wants to bomb Iran *AND* North Korea, republicans reject 9/11 heroes healthcare insurance bill, the governor of Arizona wants to continue pushing that Arizona law after a federal judge minimised its harm…  what the hell is going on in the minds of that 44% ?

The 44% that still like what Republicans and the "Party Of No" and Tea Baggers have to say are the same dumbass rubes that live in the suburbs and rural areas of America that only survive by taking redistributed wealth from the big cities to subsidize their hayseed small towns. Your political dementia and backwardass patriotism are a pain in my balls.

Did you ever care to think that maybe those suburbia families and other "dumbass rubes" might have worked their ass off to survive? Waking up at 6am and toiling away all day to provide for their families? Maybe we should take a look into the big cities among other places and see who is mooching off the rest of the nation with their government handouts instead of going to work and providing for themselves.
Just a thought :)

I have no doubt that they work hard. Working hard is a great American trait. As for who contributes the most, large cities by far have fewer tax dollars spent on them relative to tax dollars given.

Before the income tax was instituted in the early 1900s, the US Government used income-export taxes for Federal budgets. The port of New York City accounted for 90% on tax revenue during this time. So much of America was built on the industries in and around NYC.

People have always moved away from the big cities to escape the grind. I don't blame them. Just remember when you get back into the big cities, your monochromatic Republican conservative ways have zero resonance.
