Boehner is known on the Hill as the laziest man in the Senate. Republicans like to have muppets, a la Bush, in charge. Easier to mindlessly push their heartless, pro-corporate agenda.

All I can say is: How good a week can one have? Pelosi is the poster child of San Francisco liberalism and she’s going to remain. The only thing that could top it would be for the president to say that he lost this election not because of substance but because of faulty communication.
