Though Gov. Rick Perry (R) insists Texans are talking about secession in response to federal tax policy, a new Rasmussen Reports poll finds that 75% of Lone Star State voters would opt to remain in the United States. Only 18% would vote to secede, and 7% are not sure what they'd choose.Can you imagine what would happen if Texas was a liberal state? I can see the Fox News headline now: "18% of Texans Are America-Hating Traitors"
