It's a silly story. A non-story, really.
He no longer goes to Wright's Trinity church. Why would he take the time to scope out a new Chicago congregation when he's in the process of moving to D.C. for four years? It makes so much more sense for him to take the time to find a new congregation in D.C. Difficult to do that from Chicago.
Plus, as you point out, he's kinda busy.
